Description

Beautiful and sunny apartment in one of the most wonderful streets in Rome.

Within seconds on foot to St. Peter's and the subway stop 'Ottaviano', in one of the most beautiful and lively neighborhoods of the eternal city, you cannot ask for a better place to stay for your Roman holiday!

The apartment was completely renewed in late 2012, so everything is new, neat and tide and, as you can see from the pictures, it is fully furnished. The place is quiet and safe at night too.

On the third floor of a late splendid 19th century Roman building with elevator, the flat has two double bedrooms - both can be arranged to have two single beds - and a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room that can accommodate two more people.

Amenities include built-in air conditioning in every room and autonomous heating system, flat 32' TV screen, wireless high-speed internet connection as well as double glazing windows.

The apartment has two bathrooms, one equipped with a shower and the other one with a bathtub that can be used as a shower as well. The boiler installed in the kitchen supplies unlimited hot water. We also provide clean towels and sheets for every guest, complimentary soap and shampoo, and you can find a hair dryer in the bathroom.

The apartment also has a very big kitchen, fully equipped with a dishwasher, a gas stove, a fridge/freezer unit and a washing machine as well as all the other necessary appliances.

We provide a written guide to both the apartment and the neighborhood, with tips and advice for restaurants, bistros, pubs, grocery stores, supermarkets and many other wonderful places!

The Roman Tourism Tax (3.50€ per night per person) is NOT included in the total and has to be paid in cash upon arrival in order to avoid an extra commission online.

Smoking is NOT allowed in the apartment.

Check in is at 2 pm and check out is at 10 am.

Outside of the building you can find 3 bins: the white one is for paper, the blue one is for plastic bottles, glasses and cans, while the third one (black) is for normal waste.

Late check in (after 8 pm) is 30€.

Late check in (after midnight) is 50€

Feel free to submit us all your inquiries and questions, we will answer right away or still within one business day.

The apartment was great! It couldn't be better location wise and the apartment was actually much better in real life than in the pictures! Super friendly host, who responded at once if we hade any inquiries before or during our stay. A perfect place to stay for a family of four adults, if tourism, space and good food is key!

Andrea was prompt in all communication and his team was helpful with recommendations. The apartment is spacious and conveniently located to Vatican. Andrea arranged a ride to the airport for us. Sunny beautiful Vatican apartment is a good choice for a family or small group as the apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Andrea and Carlos couldn't be nicer! Carlos met us at the apartment within 5 minutes even though we were 30 minutes early. He showed us how to operate everything including the washing machine which was a huge help. The apartment was clean and spacious and was convenient to everything we wanted: The Vatican was a 5 minute walk, shopping, restaurants (Zanzare was excellent) and not far from most other attractions Rome is famous for. The wifi worked well as well as the air conditioning and the neighborhood was amazing! I would definitely stay here again! Felix

This is the best airbnb experience I have had so far. My husband and I were traveling with his parents and wanted a two bedroom, two bath near the Vatican, and this was less than 10 minutes walking. This was also less expensive than getting two hotel rooms. The apartment was much bigger than I expected. The rooms were spacious and clean, bright and sunny. The AC and wifi worked well. One shower is a bit small, and the water pressure isn't great, but I think that is an issue throughout Rome. The elevator is also small but as expected in Rome. If you have 4 people and luggage, you will need to make 2 trips, but better than no elevator at all. There is a doorman during the day and the apartment felt very safe. It was great to have a washing machine and the espresso maker. Past guests have left many amenities including cooking ingredients and coffee! Andrea is extremely accomodating and was able to work with our check-in and check-out times, and provided a place for us to put our luggage. The company actually owns several apartments in Rome so they operate more like a concierge and really care about your stay. They provided a map and printed booklet of restaurants, gelato, grocery stores, etc. in the area which was extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this place!

The property was as described on the website. It was clean and well maintained, very spacious and comfortable. The owner offered excellent customer service and got back to me immediately about any inquiry. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody interested in visiting Rome and I would stay there again. The property is near Vatican City and St. Peter's but I was able to walk to most areas of the city. The apartment had a neighborhood feel to it. There were several restaurants on the same street which were pleasurable and I was able to walk to a large market nearby. We also enjoyed a nice sushi restaurant which was about a 15 minute walk.

Excellent location, close to the Vatican and a multitude of restaurants and two markets. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. We had a warm welcome and were given very useful information as well as a bottle of wine. We would definitely recommend this apartment and will surely return to it if we ever visit Rome again.

The apartment was great! Spacious, well located, with AC (super useful during the hot week we were there). It had everything we needed for a 1-week stay. It was well maintained. We had an issue with the shower heads, which the landlord fixed (although not completely) the first day. It seems that one part was missing and they couldn't find it during the time we were there. But, overall, the owner was pretty responsive...and gave us good customer service

We had a great time in Rome as always. Andrea was a great host, helped organise many things on out stay.

written by Christine S on Vrbo on Wednesday, 22 June 2016

This apartment is located in the heart of the Prati district and minutes from the Vatican and metro stop. We loved the location and felt very safe. This area has tons of restaurants and shops with a grocery store just about 4 blocks away and despite being located on a busy street, the apartment is very quiet. The apartment is clean and has excellent air conditioning which was definitely a plus as we were in Rome with temps in the high 90's. The owner Andrea was very helpful throughout our stay and always responded to my emails very quickly. The only small complaint, as also stated by other previous reviews, was that we couldn't shower in the larger of the two bathrooms because there was no water pressure when you tried to turn on the hot water, but other than that, the apartment is very comfortable and this was a minor issue. We were a family of four and it wasn't a problem to all shower in the same bathroom but still use the larger bathroom for everything else.

written by Mary O on Vrbo on Wednesday, 08 June 2016

We loved Andrea's apartment. It is bigger than the pictures look, well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. Location is fabulous. We walked almost everywhere. A little noisy at night but closing the Windows takes care of that. Would definitely recommend for groups or a family.

written by Lenny Tran on Airbnb on Friday, 03 June 2016

Beautiful, modern apartment very close to the Vatican and within walking distance to many of the other sites. The metro was also very close and it was a quick ride to the Coliseum. Really enjoyed our stay there and Andrea helped booked rides to/from the airport for us. Thank you!

written by Myleni Ishida on Airbnb on Friday, 20 May 2016

The apartment is perfect. It has everything you need for some days in Rome. It is very close to the Vatican and metro station. There is a supermarket nearby and many restaurants. We were five people and the apartment was big enough for us. Kitchen is big with all the possible amenities. Communication with the host was easy and effective. I definitely recommend this apartment!

Beautiful place in an ideal location for visits to the Vatican and St Peter's. In fact we walked everywhere to all the major sites from here. Our host even organised all airport transfers for us which was great.

written by Julie C on Airbnb on Thursday, 14 April 2016

My friend and I stayed here for 5 days. Andrea and Chiara were so nice and helpful. They arranged an airport pickup, met us at the apartment, and had a map and great information for us. Our request for more towels was immediately addressed. The furnishings were comfortable and clean. The only item we had to buy was some toilet paper, but we had plenty of dish soap etc. and having a clothes washer allowed us to pack more lightly. I hope to return here again, truly a home away from home!

written by Rebeka Russell on Airbnb on Tuesday, 08 March 2016

What a great apartment - Andrea arranged for Claudia to meet us on the day we checked in, and she brought us a bottle of wine (wow - ace - thanks!) to welcome us in. Claudia had a map of the city and a comprehensive list of good places to eat around and about, and explained everything we needed to know (wifi password, nearest supermarket, public transport, etc etc). The apartment itself was wonderfully spacious and light with high ceilings and impeccably clean and tidy. It is perfectly located very close to the Vatican and St Peter's, and walking distance from loads of places in Rome itself. But even being on a main road, there was very little traffic noise to disturb us. My kids and I loved staying in Rome at Andrea's apartment and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a relaxing few days in Rome. Thank you Andrea.

Very good experience overall. Apartment was clean, spacious and modern. Location is central to everything with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The building is secure and nicely kept.

written by Jacky B on Vrbo on Wednesday, 16 December 2015

The property was fantastic! Great location with easy walk to restaurants, shopping, public transportation. Short walk to the Vatican. The apartment was very well stocked, clean, spacious, and pretty quiet for being off a busy street. The newer windows kept out much of the noise. Our host was wonderful. He helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport, and Claudia, who checked us in, spent a lot of time with us going over the apartment and giving us recommendations for things to do, places to eat, etc.. I would highly recommend this flat and would certainly stay here again.

We were extremely happy with our Airbnb experience with Andrea. His communication was absolutely outstanding from booking to check-out, responding within an hour and always polite and courteous. His colleague Alessia met us at the apartment for check-in and was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. There was a small problem with a broken fixture in the bathroom when we arrived but Andrea responded immediately to our request for a repair and the handyman can promptly to fix it. The apartment was exactly as described, very spacious with wonderful high ceilings and was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family (myself and my partner plus his parents). The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment which was perfect for us as we didn't want to eat out every night. It was also very useful to have a washing machine. The location is great, close to the Vatican in a very safe area in a lovely building. Despite being on a busy road, the windows did a great job at keeping the apartment quiet at night. One point to note is that the double beds are actually 2 singles pushed together, which was not ideal but we understand that this is standard in Europe. We would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Rome- the perfect Airbnb experience!

written by Marcia Plasters on Airbnb on Thursday, 24 September 2015

This was my and my sister's first trip to Italy. We were both extremely pleased with the apartment in Rome in every way. It was beautiful, spacious with high ceilings and large bedrooms, clean, comfortable and fully furnished. It was great having a washing machine, too. The windows are especially awesome as they allow the beautiful sunshine and fresh air to pour in and are incredibly soundproof at night. The view is a delight as well! The location was ideal as we enjoyed the nearby pub with entertaining live music and a charming nearby restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine, cheese platter and roasted vegetables outside. Andrea was professional and 100% + responsive in every way possible. From the beginning to the end he was consistent in his polite, informative and gracious responses. Per request, he arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport and take us to the train station at the end of our stay, which was so worth it. His colleague, Barbara, who greeted us and showed us the apartment, was very friendly and helpful. She even drove us to an ATM for euros and provided a map with tips. There is an elevator that was helpful if you have problems with steps. We were running late for a tour previously arranged and were unable to contact the agency on our phone despite multiple attempts. We were almost ready to give up when it occurred to me that I could contact Andrea. I decided to email him and ask if he could help us with the problem. He was prompt in his response and actually called the tour group and arranged for a later tour that evening! We were so impressed by this as he went above and beyond! He really helped us feel comfortable that if any other issues arose he would help us in a timely and competent manner. We had no complaints at all and I highly recommend this apartment and host! :)

written by Matthieu Lardenois on Airbnb on Saturday, 12 September 2015

This apartment is located in a nice, quiet building right by the Vatican. Andrea was very responsive and assisted us with transportation from the airport. It is a long drive from the airport to the apartment, but you do get to pass some great landmarks along the way. Andreas associate met us at the apartment. It is a beautiful, spacious apartment. There is a security door to get into the building, a lift (very tiny, 4 people max no bags, 2 people with bags). We were shown the apartment and given ideas on what to do. It has a washer which is great to help you pack light. When leaving, there is no place to store luggage, so if you plan to stay the day you will either have to take your luggage with you or sclep it to the train station on the other side of town to locker it. We were taking the fast train to florence, so we decided to just get a taxi to the train station. We could not figure the numbers out for the taxis in the help book that Andrea has at the apartment, so I called Anda for assistance. He was very helpful and ordered a taxi for us and texted me the info. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting Rome.

My wife, two young daughters and I stayed at this place for 5 nights. Large apartment 10 minute walk from the Vatican and metro, which provides easy access to many other great sites in Rome. Apartment was well equipped. Elevator in the building and good air conditioning. Only issue was weak shower water pressure in both both bathrooms, especially the one with the bath tub. Host Andrea was very responsiveness and provided a lot of info regarding transportation, excursions, etc.

This one of my best Experiences with Airbnb .. Andrea was quick to respond from the beginning, he minds every single detail from the airport pickup arrangements to the maps and detailed booklet that you can find in the apartment wich explain almost everything about the area from transportations to finest restaurants, His friend Alessia was the one we met .. very freindly .. the location is perfect, 10 minutes walk to the Vatican museum entrance and half way there you will find sails men to guided tours wich i highly recommend because of the long line outside wich you can skip if you book one plus it's very informative.

This is what all Airbnb experiences should be like! Andrea was a great host and the apartment was exactly as described - great location, excellent facilities and spotless. Everything we needed was available and there was even a file indicating nearby supermarkets, restaurants etc. Will definitely be back!

The apartment is located minutes from the Vatican, Bus, Taxi and Subway, as well as restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. The photos do not do justice to the wonderful apartment - it is VERY spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms/showers, spacious bedrooms (2) and a living room. Andrea was very responsive to all my communications, supplied us with relevant and helpful information on the surrounding area, and even arranged for a reasonably priced airport pickup. It was a pleasure to stay in this apartment, with all the modern conveniences my children expect (yes - wifi and AC). We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Rome.

My daughter and I were visiting Rome for the first time. The apartment is located on a tree-lined street with convenient access to the Vatican, restaurants, Metro. Upon arrival, we found the place clean and containing everything you need for an extended stay. The building is quaint (built in the mid- to late-1800s) and even includes an old-style elevator/lift. But what really made the trip a good experience was working with Andrea. He is very responsive to email requests and arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. Although Andrea was unavailable for our apartment orientation, his colleague Guilia met us and gave us a tour and answered our questions. She did an excellent job. This was first-class all the way and I would not hesitate to recommend Andrea and his property to anyone.

We loved the apartment! It was very clean, bright, and spacious, and situated in beautiful building on a tree-line street. We're a family of four and there was more than enough room for us. We were welcomed by Barbara, a friend of Andrea's, who gave us helpful information about the apartment and the neighborhood. We would definitely return to stay at this apartment the next time we visit Rome.

Our group of 4 adults stayed 6 nights at this apartment. We loved the location with its close proximity to the Vatican, metro, markets, and restaurants but at the same time it was a few blocks away from the tourist crowds. The apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. Andrea, the manager, was both friendly and professional. He promptly responded to all of our inquires and was available to assist us with any questions we had during our stay. We found the guide/pamphlet he provides for the apartment very useful, not just for the apartment but for the neighborhood and general information for getting around the city.

Andrea's apartment was lovely. We are a family of 3 and it felt spacious for us. The kitchen had a dishwasher and a laundry machine, which made things very convenient. The location of the apartment was excellent -- just blocks from the vatican and a nice walk to lots of other sights. We never even used public transportation and only used a taxi once. Otherwise we walked everywhere -- from Campo di'Fiori to Galleria Borghese to the Testaccio neighborhood (this one was a longish walk!). There is a bar a couple of doors down and if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you over the weekend, when it got a little busy, but the noise wasn't anything that you wouldn't expect in a big city -- and as a family of sound sleepers, it didn't bother us. Andrea left a helpful guide to some places to eat and some information about transportation. He also organized a taxi for us to be picked up/dropped off at the airport. It was slightly more expensive than a regular taxi, but it was also a good bit less stressful than having to sort it all out ourselves. This was a really nice place and Andrea was very helpful. I would recommend it.

The location pf the flat is perfect. This area is very calm (that is unusual for Rome), however there are a lot of nice restaurants to go and several supermarkets. The flat is big, really sunny and has anything one may need. On my arrival I met Chiara, Andrea's colleague who was very nice and helpful. I met Andrea on my departure so I wish I could talk to him more. However in the flat I found some really precious advice and indications from the host. That was very helpful.

We had a fantastic stay in Andreas flat. Everything matched what was promised in advance. We didn't meet Andrea but Chiara gave us a very warm welcome and the flat was super nice. Also the location of the flat is perfect, right behind the Vatican, a lot of busses, trams and even the Metro is very near by, so you can go anywhere in no time. And the area around the flat has nice shops, a few good restaurants and a cosy atmosphere. We were only two persons but the flat can easily fit 4-6 persons. I will totally recommend this place, and if I return to Rome, I would definitely consider to rent the place again.

The apartment is HUGE and the location is excellent (tree-lined streets of upscale residential area, Prati, conveniently a 5-10 minute talk to the Vatican). My family stayed here for our 2 nights in Rome and loved it. Location matters and in this area of Rome you have plenty of space, fresh air, trees, and a feeling of being on the Upper West Side vs. Port Authority. 3rd floor with elevator. Andrea was proactive in coordinating our pick-up, and set us up with a service that would take our bags to the airport as we were flying later that day. I highly recommend staying in one of Andrea's apartments, first-class service!

Awesome apartment and host !! We did not meet Andrea but we did meet Chiara and were very warmly welcomed. Highly organised host and apartment. Nothing left to chance and everything as described. However, i think Andrea understates the apartment and location - it was first class. There were 3 of us and the apartment was perfect. The wi-fi was excellent and fast. Andrea also provided a local cell phone which was very hand too. We would definitely stay here or at other of Andrea's properties.

My family and I stayed at Andrea's apartment during our 4 days in Rome. The area is really nice, very residential with tons of restaurants in the area and some shopping and a market. The apartment was great for us, has a washer, 2 full baths, 2 bedrooms plus the sofa has a pull out bed, kitchen and dining table. The wifi was decent. The elevator was great for us as we had a baby and lots of luggage for her, as well as a stroller (push chair). Andrea was extremely responsive (seriously, like a 30 second response time) and arranged for a car / van services for 2 different airport pickups and a drop off for us for reasonable prices. He had 2 sets of keys for us, too and some travel guide books.

I can not say enough good things about our stay at this apartment. The pictures do not do it justice, it was 10 minutes from the Vatican and 5 minutes from 2 markets. Andrea was instrumental in arranging all our transportation making it much easier when traveling with younger children. 5 of us stayed at the apartment and there was plenty of room, we cooked and found it to be well equipped to suit our needs. I would recommend this apartment to everyone, and would go back there again. Thanks again for a great stay.

Andrea is a great host. He was always available and has been very helpful and even thoughtful during our stay (a nice bottle of wine was even waiting in the fridge). The apartment is vast, bright, well located and very peaceful. Everything inside is brand new, neat and tasteful. It is easy to feel at home, nice and comfy. I strongly recommend this apartment. If I am to return to Rome, I will definitely try again this place.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment is a fabulous find. Look no further. We rented with another couple and we all had plenty of room to sleep, eat and hang out (when we weren’t running around Rome!). This place is clean, smartly furnished and is equipped adequately. The apartment is on a charming street, very close to the Vatican, well lit, and I felt safe even late at night as we walked the streets of Rome. The ATM, coffee bar, restaurants and markets are a stone’s throw away. Another plus, is that the Metro stop is only a few blocks away and you can easily get to the Ancient Rome landmarks as well as many of the tourist spots with a short ride on the Metro. We never needed to take a cab. Andrea, who manages this rental, is very good about responding to your questions and queries prior to your trip. Further he helped arrange our airport transportation and then our cruise transportation so we had complete peace of mind upon arriving and departing. The driver held a sign for us at the airport and was quick to whisk us through the streets of Rome where he deposited us curbside at the apartment. As others have mentioned Andrea was waiting for us, and gave us a tour and overview of the apartment, left a cell phone to contact him if needed, and was completely accessible during our stay. Thank you Andrea! Just a few tips if you do rent – 1) Andrea did provide an adaptor and convertor for the electricity– if you travel with electronic gadgets I do recommend that you bring a couple of extra adaptors. Most of mine (IPhone, IPad, blackberry, curling iron) only required the adaptor. 2) Make sure you have Andrea show you how to use the Italien coffee maker. 3) There are certain times of the year where the Vatican Museum is open in the evenings, we were able to go on the first Friday evening opening in May and we practically had the place to ourselves. If you go during the day, purchase your tickets on line so you can avoid the mile long line. Enjoy your trip!

We stayed for 5 days in this lovely, spacious apartment. All the reviews are right on. Andrea took care of all the details. The regional market was just a block away so we went crazy shopping for the freshest fruits and vegetables, cheeses and the most affordable (2.5 Euros each), fantastic Italian wines. We had freshly baked bread, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and mortadella. We were in heaven for 5 days. We cooked our own meals and saved. La Dolce Vita!! We will be back. TIP: Do your food shopping in the morning AND reserve all your museum tickets online weeks before your arrival. This will save you hours standing in line. PLease wear a money belt.

If you want to visit Rome and you want to be comfortable, secure, in the centre of everything - a stone's throw from the Vatican, a 'spoiling' of bars, restaurants and food markets - if you want to experience the magic of Rome by day and night, spoil yourself with Italian fashion or seek out a bargain, I really can't think why you would want to stay anywhere else!! A truly delightful apartment equipped with thought for the traveller. Cherry on the icing on the cake? The attention of Andrea, apartment manager for whom nothing, apparently, is too much trouble! Can't recommend highly enough and we'll be back!

the apartment is well appointed with everything you will need. It's clean, bright and very quiet (has double glazed windows and shutters). Andrea is wonderful - very responsive and pleasant - he gives you a cell phone with his number programmed in so you can contact him any time. it was perfectly situated. Easy to get anywhere you would like and good eating, clothing and grocery stores.

Ciao!

My husband (an Italian citizen) and I travel to Italy frequently for business and pleasure with our 3 children (2 of whom now live in Florence). All of my grandparents were from Rome - a city I know very well, and where I have stayed in a multitude of hotels over the years. This apartment is one of the nicest places our family has had the pleasure of staying in while in Rome, and in all of Italy, for that matter. Conveniently located in a beautiful residential area close to the Vatican (and restaurants and shops) in a beautiful pallazzo, the apartment is much larger than depicted in the photos, immaculately clean, and very well equipped in the kitchen as well as in the 2 large bathrooms (which have hairdryers, toiletries, and extra towels). The furnishings are simple, modern, stylish and most comfortable. The rooms have very high ceilings and the central air in hot August worked perfectly well. The living room and entrance area were well stocked with guide books as well as a very useful guide that the apartment manager Andrea developed. Speaking of Andrea, he could not have been more professional or more accommodating. In fact, we hope to do future business with Andrea on an international program through our Italian Soccer academy in the USA to bring American college age female athletes to play professional soccer in Rome while attending the University of Rome. Our entire family enjoyed staying that this lovely spacious apartment and will return again and again whenever in Roma – if it has not already been reserved! Do not miss the chance to stay at this affordable and beautiful apartment!

Extraordinary host and excellent apartment Andrea is an extraordinary host as was evident to us straight off. We were to arrive from India late evening, but delayed flight and long immigration queues resulted in our arriving past 9pm. His friend Angelica was waiting for us on the road outside the building, lest we miss it. An even more pleasant surprise came in the form of a prepaid cellphone that Andrea had kept in the apartment. A very thoughtful gesture indeed. Apartment is spacious, fully equipped and superbly located. Though away from the touristy chaos, Vatican is mere 5 minutes and most other significant sites within 30 minutes walking radius. Supermarkets – Despar for daily needs, Castroni for gourmet stuff, restaurants, bars and gelataria are all within 5 minutes walking distance. Highly recommended.

An amazing apartment and a terrific and helpful host! The apartment was even bigger than we expected, with everything we needed, in a perfect location. The wifi and air con were faultless. The property surpassed all our expectations, especially considering the price compared to a hotel. We will definitely stay there again.

Four of us (adults and 2 teens) spent 3 nights in this beautiful, clean, well appointed, wireless fast, sunny apartment. Great location near Vatican, walking distance to ancient ruins, nice local shopping options, restaurants, etc. Very close to Pizzarium, a great stand-up only pizza place. Andrea was right on time meeting us at the apt, showed us maps, gave us helpful tips, provided use of a cell phone during our stay, and arranged a perfect ride to the airport on departure. We ended our 2 week European adventure at this place and it was the best, biggest, and most comfortable! Would stay there again in a heart beat!

Unbeatable location and yes, it is very sunny, bright and comfortable. Huge apartment in a very secure building on the 5th floor, but the elevator works flawlessly so no worries about luggage. Fantastic full kitchen including washing machine. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with lots of storage space. Furniture was basic, but comfortable. We were able to park about a block away on the street for free - for 5 days. Metro was 2 blocks away. Two good markets within a couple blocks. The apartment was easy to find on a well-known street, but driving in Rome is not particularly fun. A great place to stay and we would stay there again.

For a family of four with two teenagers, this apartment was perfect. It is much bigger than the pictures suggest, and that allowed everyone room to spread out. Andrea was very helpful, and also provided unexpected amenities, like a local cell phone for us to use (with his phone number on it), and a (North American) power converter that charges even small electronic devices that the standard traveler converters won't. The apartment was well located for walking to sights, or to the metro station. We also appreciated having good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. This apartment exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it.

Thank you Andreas for your wonderful hospitality during our stay in Rome. My daughter and I were truly impressed. We were very centrally located, right down the street from the Vatican, and always felt very safe, even coming very late at night. You had all the information we needed as to where things were (restaurants, stores, attractions...) all written out in a binder and that was very helpful. I will be returning to Rome in 2 years with my other daughter and look forward to staying here again!

This apartment is the perfect place to stay for a sightseeing trip to Rome. The location is wonderful, in a beautiful and safe section of the city close to the Vatican. Other parts of Rome are easily accessible by walking, or by the Metro station which is only a few blocks from the apartment. The apartment itself is very nice, extremely clean, spacious, well furnished, and comfortable. Additionally, the property manager is very helpful, speaks perfect English (which was helpful as I speak very little Italian), and will make your whole experience easy and pleasant. I have planned my own trips to Denmark, Germany, Italy, England, and many parts of the US, and this is one of the very best accommodations I have ever stayed at. I fully recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome. You will not be disappointed!

Andrea was such a good host he will be hard to beat. He let us in early and offered for us to leave our bags before the apartment was ready. He thought of everything (even those you don’t get in a hotel); adaptor by the outlets, umbrellas by the door, Brita water filter. He even has a cell phone in the apartment for us to call him in case we need him. So he was only a phone call away. The apartment was very easy to find and he waited outside for us. Location, location, location! You can walk to most of the sites by foot; we did that on our first day. The apartment is very spacious with high ceiling and nicely decorated. It looks exact like the photos in the listing, and in some cases better. It was amazingly quiet with the windows closed considering we were in city center. I saw a lady there cleaning and ironing towels when we drop off our bags. It is truly a home away from home. Highly recommended!

The location was great, the flat was really comfortable for the six of us,Andrea met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. The apartment had everything we needed and it was actually much bigger then we thought from the photos. It was sunny, neat and clean in a really beautiful building. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.

I rented the beautiful, sunny Vatican apartment for two and one-half weeks in March 2013. Throughout my visit, relatives and friends stayed, most for a few days at a time. We all agree it is the best vacation we've ever had and we are already planning the next trip. Even before we arrived I was getting e-mails from friends saying "Andrea is wonderful!" He arranged transportation from the airport and back, and helped with many other details. He was always available when we had a question or needed something. He provided a very useful, detailed apartment/neighborhood guide. The apartment is quite accurately presented in the ad, except that the rooms are actually a bit larger than they look in the photos. I would recommend this place for groups of friends (we had three or four most of the time with extra dinner guests) and for families. It would accommodate two couples very well, three if you are really good friends. The bedrooms have large cupboards. Absolutely no one got on each others nerves, I think mostly because we had a congenial group, but also because there was enough room to spread out and be comfortable. The location is great. I especially wanted to visit St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, which are ten minutes walk for me, always the slowest one in the group. In addition to being an easy walk from the underground, it is only 1.5 blocks from Piazza Risorgimento, where several convenient bus lines and trams stop. Taxis are easy to find with two taxi stands within a couple of blocks. For dedicated walkers, the city center, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, and Trastevere are all a comfortable walk. The kitchen is quite well equipped. We cooked in often. There is a great farmer's market a block away, a treat in itself, and supermarkets and take-out places quite near. Directly across the street is a small, charming caffe (Ottaviano Caffe Cinci) where we got morning coffee. They also have panini and a small selection of hot food, very convenient and delicious. We used everything in the apartment, dishwasher, washing machine, TV and everything in the kitchen and it all worked fine. The furnishings are from IKEA, typical of a vacation rental, in good condition and comfortable. The sofa bed makes into a double bed, and my friends reported it to be comfortable. I found the decor to be very restful on the eyes after a day of looking at Baroque churches and Renaissance palaces. In summary -- highly recommended. Try the blues club next door!

I stayed here with a few friends in February. It was excellent. Andrea is a great person to rent from. He is very helpful and provides a really handy informative packet about the apartment and places nearby. I would recommend it to anyone going to Rome. It was in a very central location. Our only disappointment was that we spent so much sight seeing, we didn't get to spend enough time enjoying such a beautiful apartment! Next time, need to stay more than a week! Stop searching...just rent it! :)

We greatly enjoyed out stay in Roma with Andrea as our host. He met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. The apartment had everything we needed including plenty of extra blankets, sheets and towels. The apartment was actually much bigger then I thought from the photos. Plenty if room for 4 persons. The living room has a separate door and could be made into an extra bedroom if you wanted to use the sofa that way. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.

If you want a spacious, beautiful, light and perfectly located apartment - be sure to book this one! We would recommend it to everyone we know - and kind of already did! :) Can't wait to go back! We had the pleasure of staying in Andrea's wonderful apartment which is located only steps from the Vatican. It was everything that we had read about. The apartment is recently renovated, it is bright, tastefully appointed, very high ceilings, and located in a great area of the city in a beautiful building. Andrea provided us with info regarding the area we were located in, highlights of the city (which we didn't need as this was our 4th visit), suggestions for restaurants in the area, info regarding the metro, and even volunteered to pick us up from the airport or drive us to Civitavecchia - which was not required as we had previous arrangements. In the event that we needed an item that was either low on stock or missing from the apartment, he was available and had no difficulty bringing the item while we were out. Our possessions were safe and we felt that there was no reason for concern leaving the apartment at all. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a charming two bedroom. It has two separate bathrooms, and a nice kitchen (if you decide to cook rather than eat out). Wi-fi was free and the connection speed was excellent. To sum it up, there's really nothing you could want that apartment can't offer up - well maybe a hot tub :-) but then again, we didn't come to Rome to sit in a hot tub !! Cheers, Mike (and Lisa)
